Lucetta Shepardson Woods was our 3-gr grandmother. In 1847 Lucetta and her family endured the hardships of a 10 day journey by wagon to start a new life in Hillsdale County, Michigan. She and her husband were married in 1825 and were together until she passed away in 1895...70 years of creating a home for her family.

We want to pay tribute to our grandmother Lucetta and to all of our ancestors that have shared their cherished recipes. It is because of those strong women that we, too, can enjoy making our homes just as loving and warm as those of the past.
